How we use artificial intelligence

TriesteVillas uses artificial-intelligence tools in parts of this website and of its work. This page says where, how, and what always stays in human hands — transparently, as required by Article 50 of EU Regulation 2024/1689 (the AI Act).
1. The Library guides (/risorse)
Library articles are drafted with the help of artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic) from the sources cited at the end of each piece, and published under TriesteVillas' editorial responsibility. Every article carries the “Drafted with AI” label. Facts are checked against the sources before publication, but AI can make mistakes: if you spot an inaccuracy, tell us — we correct it, and the correction stays visible in the article's “Updates” box. The guides are general information, never legal or tax advice.
2. The concierge (the site chat)
The assistant answering in the “Ask” bar is an artificial intelligence. It says so at the start of every conversation, and its answers are generated automatically: they can contain errors and are no substitute for one of our agents. Any decision gets confirmed by a human. Conversations may be reviewed by our team to improve the service, as described in the privacy policy.
3. Property photographs
Technical retouching (light, colour, perspective, sharpness) does not change the substance of a photo and is not labelled. When an image is substantially altered with AI — virtual furnishing, say, or object removal — our rule is to declare it visibly next to the image, wherever it is published. A photo must never hide a real defect of the property.
4. Emails and messages
Some communications are prepared with the help of AI. When the assistant writes, it signs as “Claude · TriesteVillas AI Assistant”: it never presents itself as a person. Your relationship with us stays in the hands of our human agents.
5. What stays human
Property valuations, negotiations, viewings, advice on your specific case and the final responsibility for what we publish are, and remain, people's work. AI drafts, searches and summarises; it does not set the price of your home and does not sign in our place.
6. Errors and reports
