Contemporary Gulf-View Villa — Vanisella, Muggia

The road up from Muggia to Vanisella climbs in hairpins, then opens out. From there the whole gulf lies below you: the Porto San Rocco marina with its moored boats, the coastline folding away, Trieste on the far shore.

This is the upper unit of a semi-detached house completed in 2023 and never lived in. Genuinely contemporary architecture — clean white volumes, anthracite aluminium frames, full-height glazing — of a kind you rarely find in the province of Trieste.
